Something that I am struggling with is figuring out how to exercise. The only way I know is going to a gym and hopping on the machine and using weights. Exercising at home is something that I have never done before and therefore makes it hard for me to do. I am so grateful today for the 60 degree weather that we are having. I put together the bike trailer, attached the handle bar and took the kids on a jog/walk (Porter was tired and I was happy to walk with him). It was so beautiful and refreshing to walk by the lake and feel the sun, major vitamin D deficiency going on here.
So anyway, yeah, I am just really having a hard time with exercising. I miss sweating like a pig and having major boob sweat (sorry if that is too much info) and the need to use a towel. I miss the pool, jumping in, and being able to say that I swam a mile, I miss the alone time with my i-pod as loud as it would go. So now what? I don't know, I am still trying to figure it out.

Yeah...I hear you on that. I have been inspired by you, and by urging you...because it is something that I have wanted to be better at as well. I have been walking or using my dad's old school schwin bike. Is your treadmill being crazy? You should try checking out a pilates or kickboxing dvd from the library, or looking it up on youtube. Have you heard Bryan Regan talk about "the step?" Try using your stairs :) lol I love ya and miss you like crazy! I am proud of you for going on your bike ride today! We tried calling a couple times, we keep missing eachother.

I bought this DVD program Slim in 6 years ago. Before I even had Sadie. But I started it up again on Monday. I do it right after I drop Sadie off at school & Claire goes down for a nap. No losing focus....no going to the computer or starting chores. I am making myself put the workout dvd on. It's not just a jump around cardio routine it's some serious strength training. Lots of squats & lunges. Today will be my 4th day of it & I already feel stronger. I've set a reward for myself. If I stick to the whole 6 week program then I get a new iPod at the end. And an in shape body, hopefully.

Oh. I forgot to mention. If you have COSE insurance...like we have a COSE Medical Mutual plan...then you can get 2 free days at the YMCA a week & it includes daycare.
